naked shorting is different than "legally" shorting.

What I said was 100% correct, ff the shares are truly short (not NAKED short), not fail to delivers. With fail to delivers (naked shorts), then the situation you described could've happened. Not to mention, it's not to realistic that everyone with a margin account can congregate and put there shares up for sale, all at once. Not going to happen.
