Unsolicited quotes results in an incomplete Level 2. When you look at the ticker on Level 2 during the day, you think wow it’s really thin. And while the share structure here is good, it’s not as thin as it looks because of unsolicited quotes. That means that certain market makers and levels of bids and asks are not showing up. The company must file a 211 to get it back to normal. And they are aware of it.
And the reason I say it’s important is because people don’t like to trade unsolicited quote tickers as much…since they can’t see all the information. You’re somewhat blind. This is definitely not the only ticker like that. It will hinder volume until it’s fixed.
