Your 1st paragraph sums it up quite accurately. If they had some game changing news they would have announced it ahead of the expected abyssmal report . That would have provided a cushion . They did not!
The Alpha article cements my views as well.
However the stock is close to Extremely Oversold ( Williams%r). If you look at the past history on the chart you'll find that the stock did bounce from it. Each time resulted in a DEAD CAT BOUNCE with the downtrend resuming. Let history be the guide there. This doesn't mean it won't become even more Oversold before the bounce as the chart shows happened. But there's no reason a bounce would lead to anything to bank on
I believe Few and Crew will put a nice coat on it in the CC. It'll smell good but the sweet smell of perfume won't overcome the stench of the report. Numbers don't lie.
Until such time as FCEL can deliver and demonstrate a clear path to profitability, all the promotional BS will do nothing to convice the market, analysts and individual investors who do a complete unbiased job in their research.
