The other company already has two things in human trials and more in pipline. No comparison to RDGL where entire future rest on this (unless MK and FDA agree to simpler path forward):
“the injections are to be in VX-2 tumors in rabbits. These types of tumors can be difficult to grow, but Johns Hopkins University has succeeded in growing a currently pea size tumor. The tumor size must be at least 1 cc in diameter before further testing can be performed.”
Need many many tumors greater than 1 cc successfully treated with verified containment to satisfy FDA concerns.
I put odds of Radiogel ever getting to human trials at best 50/50 now with current path forward. Don't expect fomo volume buyers any time soon. Is what it is.
