Before they can make a move on that 8B they need a patent on the AI driving technology that they only recently submitted. The patent review obviously told them the patent they have in hand is not sufficient on its on. I say that because rather than telling us the results of the review they announce they submitted the additional patent and then went mum on the matter.

So yes this is a market that may one day be available to them but it is probably a year or two out at the earliest.
