I GUESS. Based on the fact that if this was true.....

....then IPIX (aka CEO Ehrlich) has opted to fund the Company with share sales that have drawn the price down to a fraction of what it once was rather than take anyone up on even one of your imagined offers...unless you count Alfasigma, whose upfront payment equaled less than a year's worth of his annual salary.
You can't ignore that. Either passing up on some offers that he MAY have had (and for which there is zero evidence) was a foolish strategy on the part of the man you revere so much or, as many others have guessed, there's a pot of gold at the end of this sadly drab rainbow.
History supports my guess, not yours. Your best argument is that no one knows.
