The question then becomes, why haven't they reported the assets before? What happened in 2016 that caused them to stop filing?
My guess, and it is only a guess, is that parent was fed up. (And is exiting now)
A bigger problem could be the fact that they would have to file 2 audited years if I'm not mistaken. Which means that the newly reported financials would be a whole lot different from what they have reported already! That's a legal issue, IMO. I don't see it happening. There must be another plan. Hopefully, they will just announce the settlement with parent, or whatever.
Huirong Zhang indicated that they would/might file though. But he could be wrong. Remember, he has been wrong before. And he is not a member of the Board.
I hope they pay attention to my concerns. We have wasted enough time already.
