He says "... approximately trade for 50% and the APE unit 50% of where shares trade just befor the dividend."

ie: if PPS is $22.00, then AMC should be $11.00 and APE should be $11.00

In theory yes but it depends on what the market decides. My guess with all the synthetics the prices will be seriously off because of the potential demand for ape shares
