Have no idea. Most of the training is done online. Then they also have to have whatever license they need to handle radioactive material.

That would depend a lot on what state they are in and how their radioactive material license is written. The bigger university programs have what are referred to as broad scope licenses and in a lot of cases the license can handle a change like this without an amendment to the license. Smaller programs with a specific could take a few weeks to get an amendment and brand new requests for a license can take months.

They may be waiting for advertising campaign until the licenses are granted. You would not want to start advertising and you are not ready to treat.
