First, Mullen is licensing the IP from Nextech, who in turn is licensing the IP from Lawrence Berkley National Labs, who is not the only assignee (therefor not exclusive). Check the Nextech site for verification.

Second, They are not using this tech at this time. First in-vehicle tests are due, per Mr. Michery, in 2025.
