I heard someone refer to Hillary as "Chavez in a pantsuit".
She is power mad, pure and simple.

On the Republican side, Chuck Hagel is a great guy. He stood up to the President on the war. In fact, I think that the White House might hate his guts. He would attract the vote of moderate Democrats. Also, he is Catholic, which is a plus in a country that has become majority Catholic. (Many of them are here illegally. I am being a wise guy, I'll admit it.)
