@zombywolf: I have an LOI with Tesla to sell their cars. You don’t have to confirm that with Elon Musk or Tesla company because they both exist and they’re a multi-billion dollar company, you know it, just take my words, lol.
IN MY OPINION, the May 23rd LOI PR which claimed Jessie Chiang and her "controlled companies" had worldwide rights, outside of Taiwan, to the "anti-adhesion" and "blood filtration" technology's is a fraud.
According to a Google Patent search, those patents were assigned to Puriblood and Formosa Plastics. And I can find no evidence of a licensing deal between the aforementioned parties. Moreover, WHY WOULD THEY? Why would Formosa Plastics who is building a several hundred million dollar blood bag factory as part of their deal with Puriblood need Jessie Chiang?
If you'd like to know more of why I reached this conclusion, then read on. (Note: The names "Prebo" and "Prembo" came up frequently in my google search. I believe that's the chinese version of the word "Puriblood" but I could be mistaken. Either way, I believe they are referring to Puriblood.
My DD
The Puriblood technology was developed 8+ years at a graduate school incubator called the R&D Center for Membrane Technology (RDCMT) at Chung Yuan Christian University.
Professor Chang Yung (faculty member at RDCMT) and his research team invented and patented the technology's and they assigned them to Puriblood and Formosa Plastics in various countries including the United States.
In doing a Google patent search https://patents.google.com/?assignee=puriblood the search indicates Formosa Plastics is patent co-assignee on almost every patent Puriblood received from the inventors (there were approximately five students listed as inventors for each patent. There was no mention of Jessie Chiang as a patent inventor or assignee.
Furthermore, the two companies describe themselves as strategic partners.Formosa Plastics has "invested hundreds of millions of funds to build a factory" and it will be ready by "2023".
Nanya is Formosa Plastics division will make the blood bag and Puriblood will make the blood filter. In addition, Formosa Plastics invested in Puriblood, and is a major stockholder.
These quotes about global expansion and worldwide sales I found very interesting. IMO these statements contradict Jessie Chiang's claim to have exclusive worldwide rights, outside of Taiwan.
According to this article, Puriblood July 2021 REVS were 24.36 million yuan ($43M annualized USD). So, it would seem Puriblood has ramped up their 'blood filtration' sales considerably. And the 'blood bag' sales will ramp up after 2023 when the Formosa Plastics factory is completed. https://www.businesstoday.com.tw/article/category/80394/post/202110010045/
The two company are clearly in the process of ramping up for worldwide distribution.
it is expected that in 2023, the two companies will jointly build the whole Taiwan. The first blood bag system factory. Here's another reference to international expansion by Puriblood and Formosa Plastics
In order words, despite Jessie Chiangs claim to having worldwide rights, outside of Taiwan. Formosa Plastics and Puriblood are clearly talking about international licensing to "authorized alliances". https://www.bnext.com.tw/article/65817/puriblood-2021?
My final thoughts: 1. Puriblood and Formosa Plastics have strategically planned since 2019 to be the "No. 4th" largest blood filtration company in the world (their words).
2. Nevertheless, for the reason's I stated above, I believe Jessie Chiang is probably not a real person and does not have "controlled companies" like the PR claims, and no LOI update will ever be released by $PLPL
Disclosure: I have no position in $PLPL and will not buy it in the future g/l
