mc73. I think you are over-thinking the financials. The last FDA meeting clearly stated that they expected the FDA to request additional data, also, a $$$$$$$$ money raise is required for planned, future evolutions. most responsible companies need money for "future" needs, and not the "month to month" bills.

Maybe a new opportunity arose unrelated to the IDE that would take additional funds.
Your completely focused on 2 uses for the money IDE submission and human trials. There are any other number of possibilities. For instances maybe the money is going to be used to
- activate more regional clinics to administer IsoPet® across the county,
- to improve the independent production center to create a template for future international manufacturing, and
- initiate regulatory approval processes outside of the United States.

All of the above were stated developments they intended to invest in. It maybe the IDE submission is going so well he feels good about making investments in other areas too.

We simply have no idea until he tells us, but there are definitely other logic explanations.
