Do you mean a search is active each character being typed? As you type it's instantly running the function on 'a'? Like a duck duck go entry or any search engine?
This is also a phenomenally annoying attempt to speed up one's search or something that only accomplishes more time. Just set it to search when the user hits enter.

This pre searching crap doesn't work, no matter what the search programs say.
