Lines like this are completely meaningless because we have no idea what the starting point is!!! "Increased throughput by 10 times." Okay. What was the throughput before? 1 pound of silk? 10 pounds? 1 ton? We have no idea, so 10 times a mystery number is meaningless.
I walked ten times farther today than I did yesterday. (What I didn't tell you is yesterday I never got out of bed!)
