Google is a wonderful resource, but, all us non-Spiber followers are interested in the nuts and bolts of what this highly-touted (by some) "competitor" really has that "competes" with KBLB. You know, other than pretty words on paper. Oh, and novelty items.

KBLB's brag is 1.79Gpa. Thousands of tons is Spiber's.

What is Spiber's definition of molecularly identical? Proteins have molecules? It's just marketing for them.

I don't care how many spiders Spiber looked at, KBLB beats the best known numbers of the Darwin Bark. We don't even know what standard they are speaking to. "We have a list of spiders" is their version of "in the coming weeks." Hey....sound the trumpets.
