Maybe if a powerful short came along, he would feel like he could blast though the resistance by taking the phantom share count to extremes. But I don't know if getting flagged on the threshold list stops that activity or what. I'm not sure what, if any, the current flags and resulting regulatory agencies would be doing at this present time. The further we get into the micro details of it all, the more lost I get.
I think they just found themselves trapped. My best working theory. Paying 85% interest which is hilarious. They may have doubled down when the stock was going up, before NILE revealed himself as diamond hands from hell!
