Don, thanks. I have now read the whole article.
Instead of me making blanket statements,I will ask a question, if you are able to answer it.

If the statements made in the article are perfectly accurate and are consistent 100% of time, why doesn't finra stats include a statement of explanation qualifying what is occurring?

Do the MMs get any favorable treatment as to the $2.50 per stock, or ,perhaps, per order transaction, which IF per transaction, would amount to pennies, if the MM has a short order for ,say, a million shares. A few minutes buy to cover. A few minutes later, another short transaction, buy to cover.

ANd , IF, this type of transaction is going on throughout the trading day, and every day, then why couldn't a MM, such as Citadel, recognize that money can be made by shorting, covering, shorting covering, in such a way, that serious money can be made?

And , if so, then Citidel, and other MMs then apply this money making technique, because there are no effective rules to prevent it. AND, in doing so, the MM/Citidel, drives the share price down, causing long shareholders to experience fear, and sell their shares? And if so, the MM comes in and buys them up, ON THE CHEAP, hypothetically?
