Who is God ? I think I know who is God ! Mine is a simple opinion based on personal life experiences since 1949. God is "an entity" within each of some call our "soul" or conscience.. This entity in my opinion is "our conscience" based on our individual upbringing teaching us "right from wrong". I have always struggled with my childhood teachings of what is right versus wrong as well as my wife of 47 yrs of age. As a result we both distanced ourselves from Religion as each had a mandate we were unwilling to accept..........but in 1984 our daughter was born and by 5 yrs of age we made a "conscience " decision to enroll her in a private school that was based on a third religion because that was the right thing to do......... By age nine I felt it was time to tell our daughter "we were the tooth fairy". I sat down with our daughter and tried me best to explain why we "lied to her".......Within seconds my daughter asked "What about the Easter Bunny " ? I then told her again why "we lied. .Then came "What About Santa Claus" ? again I told the truth that we had lied but tried to explain to her " the spirit of xmas"..... ......... but she then hit me with "What about God " ? so in a matter of less than five minutes my nine year old daughter had me screaming for assistance from my wife....... So it took me 28 yrs since that day to explain to "Megan " that yes "God" does exist as our individual conscience based on you upbringing of what is right or wrong............ As far as Heaven and Hell........."God only knows" and "let your conscience be your guide.
