I don't necessarily think it was a bad decision to take that embarrassing Vimeo page down because it was basically useless. I suspect he might get lucky and get it back up soon just so he can get a lot of pats on the back from shareholders for getting something accomplished. If I was a betting man I would also wager a buck or two that somehow the offline website will be blamed on shorts or watchers or evil manipulators.
