It happens all the time in Canada and the US and any other country that has cities that grow. Expropriation is a normal thing. It gives the crown the ability to take land at market value price for the betterment of the public. (See definition of expropriation)
I will guarantee you that if Elk creek grows by leaps and bounds the land although would preferably be purchased the normal way highways and byways and pipelines and all that kind of stuff have to be put into place and if it doesn’t happen there’s no growth.
It has nothing to do with Stocks or your money or your bank only land that is needed for growth.
