Going back to 2009, there was a stock that was at $1.75 in April and had been permanently shorted until the end of August, finally trading around $0.01.
...and then suddenly in early September it has reached $20 within 10 days. I remember a man posting: "Now I'm a multi-millionaire! What should I do with all this money?"
