While I don’t doubt the capabilities of the Mexican human backhoes you refer to, or Irmex’s potential (whoever they are), I no longer believe that there is significant or economically feasible recoverable gold at Santa Elena. Either that , or Lemas’s highly touted qualifications are fabricated, as were MarMar’s. Why is that Lemas, a supposed expert in that area, can’t figure out how to recover the gold?
Over the past 6 yrs that I have held shares, there has been a steady stream of consultants, experts, geologists , and chemists, touted in the Mexus Press Releases and after all that time, there is nothing to show for it but $millions squandered, a reverse split, a deluge of toxic loans, an ever increasing share count, and If rumors are correct, the mine is no longer In operation, and hasn’t been for months, while the CEO hasn’t said crap about it, except to insiders.
In short, a complete shit show.
The CEO should resign in disgrace.
I have owned stock in dozens of mining companies over the years, and Mexus is one of the worst ones I have ever seen. In my opinion, they should be looked into by the SEC for statements of revenue that did not show up in the financial statements.
