Gotta call a spade a spade.
Company has consistently missed self- imposed deadlines. This one months out, with thier own countdown. Unacceptable.
After the gold fiasco, which was obviously warranted dealing with foreign external variables, one would think that lessons would be learned.
When you set a deadline in house ,knowing the full status of development by YOUR TEAM ,you set a date with sufficient time after ALL development is done, deals signed so you do not miss the deadline.To go as far as making a coutdown clock and missing it ,promising a "PR" is unacceptable. Poor execution by remaining mgmt on what looks to be a promising product.
While this may ultimately have no bearing on the eventual outcome, it shows lack of program management skills in a young company. Hopefully just growing pains.
