My understanding is that a FS is more beneficial to stockholder emotion than a RS? Am I wrong here?

Yes it's much better but if you need a higher stock price because of some exchange listing it's hard to do a FS obviously or you still do it and hope the stock will go back up at a later stage. No idea what their plans are, they don't talk lol.
