I'm not very experienced with buyouts or biotech plays, but I've looked up some buyouts from over the years and it blows my mind how much money these companies dish out for certain things that only have use for one or two indications. Some buyouts are on research or just ideas that shows opportunity.

The thing that gets me excited is Radiogel has been shown to work and be effective. Even on these early tests on animals from the past few years where the cases were so advanced where the cancer has spread, it still did it's job and killed the tumor and extended the pet's life. I think once we see these earlier cases and it does it's job people will get even more excited.

Looking at some of these cancer biotech buyouts it's for the treatment for liver, colon, etc etc. One use and that's it. I understand if it's only FDA approved for one thing that's all they can sell it as, but Radiogel has so much more potential and such a broad use. Now they're looking at non-cancer related treatments.

The medical board that reviewed Radiogel and was told to make a list of different cancers that they think would be best for under these criteria:

(i) the potential for FDA approval and successful therapy;

(ii)notable advantages of RadioGel™ over current therapies; and

(iii) the likelihood that RadioGel™ can be widely accepted by the medical community and profitably commercialized.

18 different types of cancers were selected by the medical board review team and that list of 18 cancers didn't include the list for children. Even if it's only half the list. How many different products can say they can address 9 different cancers?

With this microinjection device they're creating will be a key part in some of the bigger more intense cancers such as brain and spinal.

How much is this worth? I hope they don't settle for just $1 billion. Like other people have mentioned that once the thyroid is approved there's a list of easier indications that wont take long. Once FDA approved I hear it's very easy to get licensed in other countries as the FDA is top notch.
