I should be fairly quick, but all depends on internal policies and procedures. Can they do the research study under their current clinical protocol? They may have to go to the Radiation Safety Committee for approval of a new protocol. Some places are a lot more picky about what you can and cannot do under your clinical protocols versus research protocol. I would hope that they could get the new protocol approved internally within a couple of weeks and then get the dose ordered and be dosing the rabbits by mid June.

How many half-lives of decay and follow-up CT scans do they want to see? I'm thinking at least 4 half-lives. 4 half-lives gets you down to 12.5% of original dose. That is still enough to analyze effectively, but low enough that by that time if the activity does start to migrate the harm to patient is significantly less. 4 half-lives would be a little over 10 calendar days. If they can start by mid-June they may have results and data ready by end of June, but that would be fast. If they want it decayed down further to let's say 6 half-lives, then you are looking at least 3 weeks start to finish.
