Most overseas manufacturers assign US representatives to service and repair their products to avoid delays and added shipping costs, this will be another revenue source for sure and if they are a distribution hub they would also get a piece of everything sold as well IMO
I remember they had contracts with Lowes as well as establishing an Amazon distribution network
