"Increase" is the operative word - that's certainly not a given.

Doesn't it really come down to this -
1. Apple waits out the PTO ruling - (and appeals again). It just keeps going on and on and on.
2. Apple settles before the PTO ruling with some sort of deal.
3. Apple waits out the PTO ruling, if its unfavorable and can't appeal settles with some sort of deal.
