Well, it isn't aluminum its a thin piece of galvanized steel screwed on to plywood. The thermal capacity of the "heat spreader" with ineffective fins randomly glued on no where near the load resistors in a joke. The fact a thermal insulator is used on the back is hilarious. This would fail a high school science fair.
