You haven't seen the financials of GQG - if Sánchez wasn't in financial distress he would create 2 empty shells to use on another empty shell and SSM is has Cooley involved in the hijacked shell.
The problem with your theory is that if Houston is building a great deal then every large lender will be there and they have the ability to get capital much cheaper than GQG - so that would explain why Sanchez would get involved in a pump and dump.
