Hahahaa you believe this drivel? The stock market wasn’t ever selling off because of too many rate hikes, the bond market predicted all of that price action well in advance. The stock market was selling off because Powell was not listening to the bond market. Bond market was saying he was wrong about being too dovish, and would be forced to act eventually but he seemed to not comprehend, thus causing turmoil in the stock markets. Now he is saying he will listen.
