Good way for Steelbergs to average down. Like you say win win for them. As far as Zemetra goes all shares he got were thru options etc. He hasn't dished out 1 dime of his own money.
Interesting when you look back at the incentive plan with the three tranches. They had to ratchet down the tranches to make them more easily attainable. But they developed this elaborate incentive plan for the executives, which was easily achieved almost solely by outside market forces.
Now that the market forces are no longer there. The board just said "to heck with any incentive plan", let's just grant them the shares.
