Strange indeed.
However, I do find the timing of the update when the stock is sliding more interesting. As we all know, the company has demonstrated that they don't keep their investors well informed with fluff. I also don't see company shills here, like we see on a number of other OTC boards....which is a good thing.
Based on my background, I'd say something isn't going as planned and they need too get out an update to remind the market/shareholders of the path they are on.
Given the current and future market related issues, some investors are going sell first and ask questions later.
The market is about to get REALLY ugly, and it will be the seasoned investor that will understand what we are about to weather.
