face it. if that production run had gone the 20k units the backorders alone would have made the financials last q. and they would have been reported .
doesnt that seem strange to u?

Not that you should believe managements comments on production, but they have stated that mass production did not start until June. If that is true then most of the supposed 20K run or back orders would not have been filled in the 2nd Q. The July August and September quarter is the one to look at in terms of gauging sales. If they come in with a million in sales I would be disappointed. 2 million, I would be happy. If Rich wasn't lying then they should salvage half of the 9 million backlog for another 4 million or so. I have a feeling that the back log may turn into back bust, however.

As I've said a month ago, websites will not garner sales like retail stores.

Put the product in 2000 Radio Shacks and they would sell 0.8 Secureviews a week per store, IMO, for a total of 1600 cameras per week. That is 83,200 cameras a year. Get it into a couple of other electronic/security stores and IMO, the sales would really add up.

How's that for some Friday afternoon cheerleading?

cabo...

the last quarter would not show up in revenue as production started in June. The 20,000 unit production run was not a one day deal. that is thursday you have no units and friday you have 20,000 units.

also, I did not prod west marine, I simply was pleasant and the lady was helpful in giving information.

the only thing unusual is the fact that you are here after you proportedly sold your postion. actually, that is not weird since most posters seem to be holding no position.

nice try.
