That is an over simplification.
Energy is required to make salty water that is fit for humans to drink.

It takes money , energy, and natural resources to make manufacturing plants to transform salty water into water that is fit for humans to drink.

Much less water that is fit to make plants that folks like eat to grow.

Plants are no different from humans. They like to drink fresh water just like we do.

There are no easy solutions.

If there were, then these OTC companies, not to mention these third tier NASDAQ companies, all offering the Once and Final Solution to all the world's problems as it pertains to energy and food, would all be worth multi trillions in market valuations.

It was Eric Berne, a psychiatrist during the hippie era, who observed:

"Although there may be no hope for humanity there is at least hope for the individuals in it."

Maybe you will "make it."

You will have the bucks to buy the McMansion in Boca Raton and eat out at all those fancy upscale restaurants.
