Yes, Applebaum has had his license suspended more than once.

What's very interesting is how close the suspensions were. Pretty amazing, CA rarely suspends attorneys. I read an article about it long ago. It was actually disturbing to read how bad the CA BAR was. Maybe the CA Bar has changed (doubtful)

I have found that attorneys (that like to "bend the law") and scammers know how to find each other.

Maybe there is a club that they all join.
