Switch from hydrogen to alcohol for your fuel cells to mitigate the problem of Hydrogen storage. (Migrates through metal, explosive much.) Current battery tech results in that little problem with Lithium battery spontaneous combustions and a 2 day melt down cool off period. So, at least worth considering, although it seems a bit of a problem to use Foods for your Fuels.

There would still be a need for lighter weight airframes and automobile parts. Elk Creek alloy metal products would do that; REE magnet materials would still be required for electric motors and avionics parts. So, Canadian gold dust would be in demand to make it work.
