The E-Cell has a discharge rate of 100%. This is a huge advantage of E-Cells. Batteries have a limit on the amount of discharge they can handle, and will be damaged if overly discharged.

The E-Cell will charge in minutes, not hours.

The E-Cell can also be used in very cold temperatures, whereas batteries will not work well when they are very cold.

I would venture that so many have a higher cost basis and don't want to take the hit right now, hope springs eternal.
