I couldn't connect TT to my Etrade this year. I just used the summary of long-term and short-term activities from the downloaded tax files from Etrade.

You don't have to worry about each separate trade any more. This is why they have totals and these are good enough and official for IRS who is getting complete 1099. I stopped reporting everything but Schedule D and it's accepted by IRS. GLTY.
