You do see the irony in that. Using politics to complain about politics. Science and math have already proven several things that create a conflict. 1) there's no way to transition to all green energy and have 24/7 resilient power. Not over the next few years and we would be lucky to be able to accomplish that by 2040. Plenty of scientists in the climatologists have chimed in about the urgency and about the effectiveness of carbon capture at 90 plus percent efficiency. And that is part of what fuel cell and other companies are working on is tweaking the technology to make it more efficient and more affordable. We actually have success rates up to 95%. There is zero chance of eliminating fossil fuels in the next 10 years. There's also zero chance of mitigating fossil fuel emissions sufficiently over the next 10 years without carbon capture. End of story. Somebody show me something scientific that proves otherwise. Until then there's no debate to be had.
