Really...well first off it was an Enchilada. LOL
As far as the vaccine being manufactured in Mexico that is no surprise. Last year Mexico all but invited Sorrento to build a facility to do just that as they felt they were held hostage by Pfizer, BP in general, and they were determined to never be put into that position again. The relationship of Sorrento in Mexico is very strong and they may well become Sorrento's champion. Brazil and the rest of SA will join in as Sorrento garners success.
No matter what anyone thinks of Dr. Ji's shortcomings he is not a fool but a fighter and the purchase of a majority interest in Fortune Bio had logic and reasoning behind it. Quite a bit of time and money has and is being expended in the testing area. I'll say one thing for him and that is he can make a decision. I would like to see some FCF in the next two years and a reasonable FCF/s develop.
The length of time that the company has been in business and the speed at which capital is being spent demands sales and more importantly free cash flow. Heavy capital investments as a company grows is expected and the catch and kill event pushed back SORRENTO's growth substantially. SCILEX will become an asset soon and the probability of SEMDEXA generating free cash flow is high, so in short order FCF/s should settle in nicely.
The oral anti-viral Mpro and COVISHIELD hold promise but revenue, that could be years away as well as the investment in VIREX. Could the VIREX meter come quickly as it is a reader of the test and not the test itself.
I am still hopeful that COVISTIX sales are good. Five weeks to go to find out if "a sale" is a sale or just a stocking order.
