LOL! If there were actually more buys than sells every day AMC's share price would not have plummeted the way it has. And, just today in a new article out in the news under AMC, it notes that short positions in AMC are down to 15.95% or 79.75 Million shares. That could be covered in a little over 2 days at recent average volume, although today should go well above recent avg. daily volume given that we are at nearly 20 Million shares traded less than 3 hours into the trading day.

In June 2021, 22.85%, or 102.3 million, of AMC’s total 448.56 million share float was held short. That number is now down to 15.95% or 79.75 million shares.
