Why would any company move forward on CCS without subsidies? It is an added expense to capture CO2. No company is going to do that without compensation. Makes no sense.

Excellent post and I have been saying for sometime now hoe embarrassing it is that the U.S is behind the rest of the world with this initiative. And it could be blamed 100% on one group of people.....Politicians. Both Republican and Democratic parties and fault and should be ashamed of themselves that the United States is not leading this green initiative.

It would make sense for Exxon to get a few pilot programs out there before the subsidies hit.
