NP was forced to "resign." In his employment agreement that means he gets NO severance, loses his outstanding non-vested options. He no longer has the company paying his legal bills. He is under SEC/DOJ investigation, shareholder lawsuit. He risks having significant amount of his assets being clawed back and will be spending considerable time with lawyers. He also will very likely be banned from management or a board member in a publicly traded company. And then there is the risk of an indictment and potentially jail time.
