Can you imagine how volatile the OTC would be if everybody could do market buys holy crap. The other option is to set up your keyboard with your trading platform to have quick keys to do rapid fire buys. Yes the discouragement about the market sells is that it drives the price down and the market makers can change the values at will to allow it to go even lower. There are plenty of people that intentionally dump in to the bid with market sells to drive the price down and then they're like oh look at all this delution. It's hard to trade respectfully when people are always out for their own best interests it's a vicious sandbox down here in the wild West.
