"..the management was able to retire several debt notes from previous owners and reduce the OS. The exact share number is almost at one billion shares, and the final count is yet to be determined. The management will follow up on the next update."
According to disclosures--
Total shares authorized: 3,500,000,000 as of: 09/30/2015 Total shares outstanding: 2,969,209,834 as of: 09/30/2015
Nearly six years later years later
Total shares authorized: 8,000,000,000 as of date: 03/31/19 (+129%) Total shares outstanding: 2,969,209,834 as of date: 03/31/19
Total shares outstanding: 3,259,209,834 as of date: 12/31/20 (+290 million)
Total shares outstanding: 2,969,209,834 as of date: 09/30/21
As of today, the O/S is exactly 1,775,000,000 greater than what was reported less than 6 months ago (9/30/21). Even if "almost 1 billion shares" are magically retired the O/S will still be nearly 1 billion more than the most recent disclosure (Q3 2021). IMO shares are rarely well and truly "retired" without some other sort of equivalent value being awarded.
Reminds me of a store that raises prices in order to claim they're having a sale.
