The solution has more favorable pharmacodynamics so it is absorbed more rapidly resulting in a quicker peak concentration. Compared to generic Celebrex it would probably kick in 15-20 minutes quicker.

The regulatory hurdles for a drug like this are low but it is unlikely to do well in the market. The cost is $140/dose so insurers will put up appropriate step-edits. It may compete with Cambia (another NSAID with more rapid absorption than its generic tablet), which I've prescribed 3-4 times before the anti-CGRP agents came out. Cambia becomes generic in January 2023 so it's a short window.
