Stomach ultrasound for possible hernia scheduled due Monday. With chest X-ray for lungs.

Yep, i remember that story of yours. Think so, anyway. I had two groin hernias dealt with years ago.

The weird question about this case, the bruising and lump first appeared while in hospital after the dog attack - little marks on stomach
also. So no way heavy lifting was involved. LOL, did loft my legs to get over the edge of the bed so maybe that could have been enough.

Will be interesting if it is a hernia if a robot is used. If one had been available when my prostate cancer was dealt with maybe
the two crucial erection nerves wouldn't have been cut and damaged and i wouldn't have been left hanging around. ;-)

2nd graft dressing hospital visit in just over an hour.

Wound healing well. Stopping in the pub up the road on the way home i ran into two Irish and English friends i'd met a couple of times before. They are sparkies working on the upgrade of Sydenham station .. https://www.sydneymetro.info/article/major-sydenham-upgrade-sydney-metro .. where the new Metro will end. The Metro comes above ground shortly before Sydenham station at the end of a 10km tunnel which runs from the other side of Sydney Harbor ..

under Sydney to Sydenham. In the image right is north and Sydney's northern suburbs, Sydenham is inner-west to the left.

The two young guys, generous souls, insisted on plying me with Guinness and a few schooners later a young lady at the next table dropped one of her electronic cards onto the ground. Thinking she may not have seen it drop i got off my stool, got a shoe hooked in it's leg and fell ingloriously to the ground. Short version, as concern was expressed while i was helped to my feet "I fell for Nicolle."

Thankfully the bouncers understood it was simply a well motivated accident and we resumed our chat and drinks as before.

Good news on stomach, as guessed. How could i have caused a hernia while in a hospital bed.

Oh, and as i suspected my stomach lump is not a hernia, but a fat oil leak.

The ultra sound gentleman said the dog's tooth must have just punctured some belly fat -
he said though you are fit you do have fat. The bump is about as long as my index finger.

What's to know about fat necrosis?

Fat necrosis is a condition that occurs when a person experiences an injury to an area of fatty tissue. This can result in the fat being replaced with the oily contents of fat cells.

The term “necrosis” means the cells have died. Potential causes of fat necrosis include blunt trauma, surgeries, or radiation to a particular area of the body.

Areas of fat necrosis can feel like small, hard tumors but they are not cancerous tissue.
