Thanks rstar. That could be very good news.

He is certainly aware of lenz and the help it can provide.

You could be right, rstar, as far as HGEN is concerned. And that concern could extend to our interest in CRISPR, as well.

But I have to note that Collins did not enable us to get a Priority Review Voucher for Chagas Disease. Nor does it appear that we was able to help us get an EUA for Covid, based on our LIVE-AIR trial. But I agree, he may be helpful in getting an EUA, or approval, for lenz, from the NIH trial.

However, I don't know what to expect from him as co-chair of the Council of Advisors on Science and Technology. Biden just promoted Alondra Nelson as that group's new Policy Director. She was the President of the Social Science Research Council (SSRC). A little about them here:

I'm currently reviewing two videos, one from 1upandaway, which has just discussed the reasons why we should not vaccinate children (concludes at the 40 min mark):

https://www.voiceforscienceandsolidarity.org/videos-and-interviews/evaluating-mass-vaccination-including-children

and another video regarding Alondra Nelson's book, "Body and Soul: The Black Panther Party and the Fight Against Medical Discrimination."

I have to wonder how she feels about the FDA's failure to grant the company's EUA, based on the unmatched efficacy of lenzilumab in demonstrating the ability to save so many black lives, which was declined while Collins was still Director of NIH.
